1920's display cabinet makeover

I bought this 1920's display cabinet today, trying to get some nice cheap furniture to display my finds, fabrics and makes. It was a complete bargain and didn't look that great.. the back had this wall paper stuck on the back with drawing pins, they were rusty and really stuck - but i managed to gouge them out with my trusty penknife
I then used some of my left over pip studio wall paper

and this is what it looks like now.

What do you think? I do like it - but should i have used vintage fabric? let me know what you think, i could easily change it - or have some on rotation.....

  3. Looks really great V - I love that paper. Is it going to be in your front room with wallpaper or destined for the crafty den?

Glad you could get shot of the stone cladding!

  4. What a super find! I love the paper you've used and I guess you could easily change it if you get bored. The scallop shape glass panel is really unusual.
