i seem to look like a lot of people...

Thoughout my life i have been told i look like a lot of people. Today i was told i really look like.... so it was another to add to my list. Today i thought i would show you some of the people/animals i have been told i look like! Some i wish, some i hope not, and some that i really don't!
I was called this young ape all the way through school - isn't that kind?!!!
I think i was compared to Annie Lennox because i had short hair and red lipstick at one point!
One of my daughters friends says i look like Katherine Heigl - She is now allowed round my house whenever she wants! i wish i did - but I REALLY don't!!
I have also been told i look like a walrus!
Anyone remember Yazz? another one i have been compared to...
Today it was this young lady... Think it's just the clothes..
And finally Paloma Faith - seriously, if i had a pound for every time i had been told i look like her i would be able to  - well buy a few of her records, ha ha! (my sister is too). The sad thing is i am nearly old enough to be her mum!
so do these people all look alike? maybe I have a rubber face?
so who have you been compared to?

  1. If someone said I looked like Paloma Faith I would be cock a hoop! I have been compared to Sophie Ellis Bextor and Claire Sweeney, the latter of which I don't consider that much of a compliment. But I think I just look like me :) x

  2. Bloomin heck - a walrus and an ape? I cant think of anyone who I could be compared with, iv'e never been told i'm like anyone. Everyone has a double apparently and iv'e been told on a few occasions that "You look like my aunt" or "you look like that women in Tesco's" nothing very flattering!! x

  4. Very funny post. Cant believe someone said you look like a walrus! Cheeky article. Anyway, my hubby calls me Rhino Arse. Its become an affectionate term (and I will admit it makes me laugh) but make of it what you will! lol xx

  5. I'd be chuffed to be told I look like Paloma Faith - even more so if you really are old enough to be her mum! My boyfriend is a red head too.He hasn't shaved for a few days so he does look a bit like that first picture!

  6. Great post, it made me smile! When I was younger and had a heavy fringe, people used to say that I reminded them of Sandie Shaw or Nana Mouskouri.

  7. Well, that's a right mixed bag! Forget the walrus and the ape (which must've been from people who were jealous), concentrate on the others and be flattered! This did make me smile!

  8. lol - great post, i'd be tickled pink too at the Paloma Faith comments - she's fabulous! When im wearing my full on pin up 40's/50's get up then i get a lot of randomers say i look like Dita Von Teese - i look nothing like her and im blonde but its the only person these people know who rocks the vintage look (im one of a kind in my town and never fail to get some dumb ass comments). I also had an old lady at work who used to tell everyone i looked like a young Kim Wilde - very random. Scarlett x

This is great, although I doubt you look anything like a walrus or an ape!
Paloma is just beautiful, I'd stick with that one.
I got Catherine Zeta Jones or my mum used to call me olive oyl........!!!

  11. Well most of those are mighty fine folks to look like... minus the walrus and the ape of course. I don't know who I look like, but my daughter has had people tell her she looks like Marilyn Monroe. :-)
