More Camber Set Makes

I have made it before I will make it again!
I have become a little more obsessed with the Camber set from  Merchant and Mills.
The first, that you can see below, I made for a really good friend of mine, who wanted it made from 'Fringe Flower' in clementine by Michael Miller. She is little bit of 60's chick and I think its great, I hope she likes it! the fabric is available here
Another friend, who is also the best dog walker in the world, chose the blue seersucker with anchors for a seaside feel. I can see here walking her dog along the beach in this. The seersucker is a wide fabric so even though it is more expensive you do not need as much to make the dress. Find all the details by clicking  http://www.missgingers.co.uk/product/seersucker-embroidery-blue-anchors/
You may have seen before the one I made for  myself using the pink with skulls seersucker. It is still going strong and during these chilly times I am wearing with a long sleeve tight white T Shirt underneath.
If you would like to make one, you can buy the pattern  link. Please let me know if you do as I would love to join in or be nosey about your make. I have two more people to make for and I don't know what fabrics I will use yet...what about you?
Happy sewing !

  1. This tickles me! I'm sure I've said this before but I've BEEN to Camber - my husband's father lived there and we visited his wife in 2011. Apparently the beach was also used by Monty Python quite regularly for filming. And another connection, I have a piece of the MM Fringe Flower in my stash too. Just a half a yard, but it is seriously cool, innit!
