So im trying my hand at cross stitch. I have never done it before but thought i should try as I hope to be selling some packs.
how cute and innocent does little Lettice look? Well don't be decieved because she is very naughty
Frank looks like butter wouldn't melt?
but one of them did this.......
and whose dirty paw prints are all over the pattern i'm following?
It is taking me ages, i think i am very slow as this is after hours and hours of work. i am enjoying it though.
i will be putting on a dearstalker hat and grabbing a pipe to solve the mystery of destroyed items. When i worked out who did it they will be in big trouble.
Naughty pets! Loving the cross stitch though. Something I've never attempted and probably never will as I just haven't the patience for it.
ReplyDeleteBtw, when you've got a minute, could you let me know something? Your blog header, is it your room? If so, is the wallpaper from Pips Studio? Where did you get it from? I'd love to know!
It could be both of them, I know my two dogs egg each other on and they had great fun recently dipping into my knitting bag. They took out 2 new balls of wool from a scarf I have started and unravelled them across the living room floor. The wool was a mess but I think they enjoyed it :)
ReplyDeleteBee happy x
Awww what a shame. It looks fabulous though! x
ReplyDeleteI'd have them both in a bag and down to the river right now!! (Joking...or am I!?).
ReplyDeleteHope the hole is in a place you can cover up easily - maybe just cut a small patch from the edge/border that you'd be cutting off anyway, maybe 10x10 squares and stitch it in place (on the back) - maybe that would work?
You are doing brilliantly though - are you getting scratched and snaggled by the rough cut edge of the canvas? That's my worst bit about doing the HUG, especially as it is so huge!
Both little sweeties:)
ReplyDeleteI think they're both just trying to 'stitch' each other up! LOL
Love the cross stitch. Very soothing when you get into it.
ohh those naughty little tinkers who's the culprit! paws up!!!!
ReplyDeleteA patch is, indeed, the answer to the new hole. But isn't this more properly called needlepoint since you're using yarn? And cross stich is with embroidery floss? Just asking.
ReplyDeleteRenee :)
Awwww I LOVE your pets. Lettice looks so fluffy and cute and Frank is gorgeous too. My cat is terrible for patting beads and chain whilst I am making jewellery....crafts and animals don't mix! lol!
ReplyDeleteMy cat Betty loves to play with my knitting if I forget to pop it away. Looks like your doing very well with the stitching x
ReplyDeleteThis is the story of my life but there is never any mystery of the guilty party. His name is Truman and he is naughty.
